Costin Chioreanu from Twilight13media (AT THE GATES / DARKTHRONE / ULVER, etc.) and rock/metal band BLOODWAY has released a new benefit compilation in support of the families of the victims of the recent tragedy that happened on  at a metal concert in Bucharest on October 30th. His new compilation featuring appearances from BLASPHEMER (AURA NOIR, ex-MAYHEM), ATTILE CSIHAR (MAYHEM / TORMENTOR), David Tibet (CURRENT ’93) and many more can be grabbed through the player below, so please drop in a couple of bucks to help the victims that are still alive. All proceeds will be donated to help pay medical bills and funeral expenses of those who have been affected by this tragedy.

Chioreanu commented:

“Is very hard for me to find the words to convey the devastating effect of this, so I’ll try to just stick to the facts. For our small community of music fans, this has been beyond terrible – many of us here have been friends for many years, and those newer to the scene, we’d still have recognised. The loss and impact is almost too big to comprehend at the moment.

I want to thank all the great musicians who have taken part in these soundtracks – for their immediate response and support in making this compilation possible and available for fundraising. The love and support that’s out there in the international metal scene is unbelievable. I want to thank everybody who has helped out, from the bottom of my heart.

I started to create this music in 2011, for a personal project, not directly related to metal music/artwork. When working on this type of project, I like to include the audible space as well as the visual in my work. So, all this music is extremely personal to me, and many of these soundtracks have never been released before. The intimacy of the works makes it feel quite natural for them to be released for a humanitarian purpose like this.”
