The Age of Metal recently conducted an interview with IN FLAMES drummer Daniel Svensson, who was asked about the progress of the songwriting sessions for their next album.
Svensson replied:
We’re not a band that writes albums on the road. We tried, but it didn’t really work out for us. So we will continue touring on until this touring cycle is done, and then we will meet up and write the new material. So far, we have nothing written for the upcoming album. I mean, we will still tour for awhile on this album. For us, this album still feels kind of fresh.
