DIE YOUNG unleash new album in full!

1 min read

With Good Fight Music’s release of DIE YOUNG’s new full-length, No Illusions, just days away, the band presents a stream of the full album.

Fifteen tracks in all, No Illusions is a ripping, raging account of Die Young’s metallic hardcore sound, seasoned as it is by more than a decade’s worth of touring the world and honing its vision. Led by vegan straightedge frontman Daniel Albaugh, Die Young explores a worldview that is both compassionate and nihilistic, from veganism to atheism, and the band kicks out jams that nod to a range of heroes: from Slayer’s apocalyptic thrash and Bolt Thrower’s battleground laments, to Cro-Mags’ snarling crossover and Earth Crisis’ militant stance. Occasional acoustic passages and female vocals add a whole extra dimension.

“The reformed Texas slayers in Die Young are swinging harder than ever with their upcoming release, No Illusions.
–Metal Injection

“An aural assault anchored by heaping helpings of hardcore and thrash metal…”
-Lambgoat

“A staple of the Texas hardcore scene spanning back to 2002… Die Young has carved a permanent niche… They are able to blend exciting elements of hardcore and metal. The lyrical content focuses on a range of real-world humanitarian and social issues.”
–Blow the Scene

DIE YOUNG, who have played everywhere from Hong Kong to Mexico to Russia to Alaska, will hit the road in the US this fall, including dates with Himsa (reunion show), Sentenced to Burn and Wake of Humanity, and a slot on Sound on Sound Festival in Austin, alongside Carcass, Baroness, and Young Thug.
