Members of SWALLOWS NEST have teamed up for a new screamo infused, ear-piercing powerviolence and and today we’re stoked to give you a proper teaser of their full length debut ‘Cuck’, that releases July 26th, 2022 on Tomb Tree Tapes. The new jam is called “Eat Dirt” and it’s a wild slap in your face!
CUCK features Lana, Gabe, and Joerg all from Dunedin, New Zealand based Swallows Nest, who have been active in other bands like Machine Rex, Yung Nat$.
With every second of their poisonous, writhing brand of powerviolence hitting really hard, CUCK comes cranked to the max, with more than a few fierce moments of utter mayhem. Their upcoming debut full length features 14 tracks of venomous, pissed-off powerviolence with outstanding screams and tons of movie audio clips.
Comments the band: “Cuck was devised on our 2019 European tour with Crowning as the guitarist from Swallows Nest had moved to the North Island in New Zealand and the other members still wanted to play on a weekly basis, so Cuck was formed upon arriving back in New Zealand. As Swallows Nest’s writing and playing waned, Cuck became the primary outlet for the three Dunedin friends.”
