After four years back together, EVILDEAD have announced that they have decided to break up once again.
They explain:
Veteran L.A. thrashers EVILDEAD have issued an update regarding current status on the group; due to personal differences within the band EVILDEAD have decided to go into permanent hiatus and disband at this time. The band has canceled plans to record any new material for a studio album and there are no scheduled live shows. We thank all the fans, journalist, promoters, and supporters worldwide, this has not been an easy decision to make for us who worked hard to rebuild and regain our loyal fan base. We will keep our facebook fan page active and also our official website: www.evildeadofficial.com.
The band originally called it quits in 1995 after releasing two well-received albums “Annihilation of Civilization” (1989) and “The Underworld” (1991).
In other news, some of the remaining members have resurfaced in a new band called FAEOST, who are currently working on a full-length debut.
