Belgian post metallers AMENRA have released a new music video for their song “A Solitary Reign”, coming from their acclaimed record “Mass VI”, available for streaming at this location.

Noisey Magazine commented:

The music of Amenra is as eerie as it is beautiful, and the video for A Solitary Reign is no exception. In this new clip you see the Belgian sludge metal band wandering through ancient ruins, sacrificing animals while getting surrounded by a pack of wolves. It sounds like the script of an old occult movie, and the cinematic shots that director Tine Guns brought to the table would be really serene if they weren’t so bleak.

Our Dutch Noisey colleagues spoke to frontman Colin H. van Eeckhout about their latest album, Mass VI. He said it took them a while to finish it. “When we got a phone call from our drummer about his mother passing away, we knew it was time to get together,” he explained. “A moment like that really hits you. All the things that don’t really matter dissolve and you start realizing what is most important.”

Sad But True videographer posted a sick 3-song live video of NAILS performing live at Aglomerat venue in Moscow on November 11th:

Here’s a different angle from Metalafisha.ru:

Los Angeles punk rock label Wiretap Records release new lengthy compilation called Attention: A Punk Rock Feast Compilation, featuring a bunch of great bands worth a check, including IRON CHIC, SUCH GOLD, SOANISH LOVE SONGKAMIKAZE GIRLS, NO TRIGGER, and other lesser known packs that we truly believe deserve more acknowledgement for their amazing work. Listen below and share!

The compilation is part of the on-going quarterly compilation series with all proceeds going to the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) over the next years.

The 35-track comp, features tracks from Wiretap artists/bands along with tracks from labels like SideOneDummy, Asian Man Records, A-F Records, Big Scary Monsters, Red Scare Industries, Dodgeball Records, The Black Numbers, Take This To Heart Records, Bird Attack Records, Anchor Eighty Four, Hidden Home Recs, Jetsam Flotsam and more.

New Budapest based raw, noise rockish punk act ÉSZLELÉS (English: PERECEPTION; members of post punk act CAMP KOALA) has dropped its first release, unabashedly authentic, ugly, and holding nothing back. Stream it below.

Industrial metal legends GODFLESH are streaming another new song titled “Be God” from their new album, Post Self, to be released on November 17th.

Ft. Collins, Colorado’s tender indie rockers GLEEMER have premiered their new song “Pressure” and its accompanying music video below. The shimmering single comes from the band’s upcoming full-length, Anymore, due out November 17th via Other People Records.

With so many bands mining the fertile ground of ’90s alternative lately, Gleemer stands out from the pack by taking a decidedly more nuanced approach to fuzzed out guitar rock. “Pressure” exemplifies Anymore’s warmer textures and a dreamy-yet-powerful pay offs, all lovingly crafted by vocalist/guitarist Corey Coffman and multi-instrumentalist Charlie O’Neil in the home studio built in Coffman’s parents’ home.

Gleemer will be supporting Anymore throughout the Fall on a lengthy run of U.S. tour dates with Hundredth, Spotlights, and Tennis System, starting at the end of November. See full itinerary below.

Swiss punk act HATEFUL MONDAY released their new album ‘Unfrightened on September 15th via Torch Of Hope Records and Kicking Records. They have released a music video for their song, “Life Events.”

Northwest/West Midlands, UK’s one man raw punk black metal act KASTCHEI has dropped its nosy debut record called ‘Communist Black Metal Madness!’. Inspired by Raspberry Bulbs, Bone Awl, Negative Approach and Les LĂ©gions Noires, the harsh outing is available below.

With God dead, humanity has found itself puzzled by the infinite possibilities offered to it, and has mistakenly become caught in a problem-net. Earth has grown cryptic beyond all prediction. “Kastchei” is a meeting of vexation-priests who will trouble their guests with bothersong. A troubling experience can be yours.

“With Kastchei, there’s also a punk rock feel and noise elements and samples, but it’s even more unrefined and almost OTT, with hints of the drama of 80’s post-punk. It doesn’t exactly sound black metal, but it doesn’t fit anywhere else: hence, weirdo black metal. This is music for those who are outsiders even within the underground.”- The Sound Not The Word

Emotive pop punk rock act CARRY ON, KID has shared a new lyric video for their song “And They Gathered In The Gardens”, coming from the band’s debut album We Belong To Each Other, to be released through Hidden Home Records on January 12, 2018.

Carlos Salazar of punk’n’roll act KINGS AND DAUGHTERS is streaming his new spoken word record Amor En Tierra Ajena (Love In A Foreign Land), available now via OnTheAttack Records.

Amor En Tierra Ajena (Love In A Foreign Land) is the spoken word debut by Carlos Salazar (Kings & Daughters, Before There Was Rosalyn). Gripping, intense and personal tales from a man who rose up from a broken home in Honduras to conquer some of his life’s greatest challenges. In Amor En Tierra Ajena, Salazar shares his heart’s most euphoric moments, while it simultaneously prepares for the inevitable pain and grief of loss. Come share his poetic journey of courage, honesty, rage, and the ongoing endeavor of trying to find your place in this world.

We don’t read & write poetry because it’s cute. We read & write poetry because we are members of the human race. & the human race is filled with passion. & medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits & necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. -Tom Schulman-

Former FAITH NO MORE singer (1984-1988) Chuck Mosley has died at age 57.

Mosley’s family shared the following:

“After a long period of sobriety, Charles Henry Mosley III lost his life, on November 9th, 2017, due to the disease of addiction. We’re sharing the manner in which he passed, in the hopes that it might serve as a warning or wake up call or beacon to anyone else struggling to fight for sobriety. He is survived by long-term partner Pip Logan, two daughters, Erica and Sophie and his grandson Wolfgang Logan Mosley. The family will be accepting donations for funeral expenses. Details to follow when arranged.”

FAITH NO MORE added:

“It’s with a heavy, heavy heart we acknowledge the passing of our friend and bandmate, Chuck Mosley. He was a reckless and caterwauling force of energy who delivered with conviction and helped set us on a track of uniqueness and originality that would not have developed the way it had had he not been a part. How fortunate we are to have been able to perform with him last year in a reunion style when we re-released our very first record. His enthusiasm, his sense of humor, his style and his bravado will be missed by so many. We were a family, an odd and dysfunctional family, and we’ll be forever grateful for the time we shared with Chuck.”

THE RAMONES will be releasing a deluxe reissue of Rocket to Russia LP, to be released on November 24. It will feature 2 mixes of the album, a Dee Dee vocals version of “It’s A Long Way Back To Germany”, demos, and an unreleased live show recorded at the Apollo Centre in Glasgow, Scotland on December 19, 1977.

Dark, droney ambient experimentalists OPOLLO have shared a new, lengthy, dark single called “The Solarnaut”, a transcendent and spacey track, written for the project’s live performance in March 2017. Listen below, it will give you goose bumps.
