Industrialized punk act SCIENCE MAN premieres controversial NSFW music video

1 min read

Hardcore but born from punk. Lab grown and hidden away in Buffalo, NY is a dark, crumbling, leaky warehouse of an album. Now with a full band, SCIENCE MAN‘s 3rd LP “NINES MECCA” releases Friday, March 18th via SWIMMING FAITH and FERAL KID RECORDS.

Each song on the album has a video counterpart made entirely by John Toohill and Lindsay Tripp. A 10 part music video series that culminates into a sort of short film companion to the album. Ken Russell style green screen madness meets Jodorowsky surrealism with the charm of Evil Dead on a punk budget.

Conceptualized, filmed, directed, and edited by John Toohill. All costumes, masks, and stop motion animations by Lindsday Tripp. A spiraling epic of perilous transformations through a dystopian world.

A special edition VHS of the film is available for preorder prior to the album’s release.
