1 min read

BERTHOLD CITY (check out our recent review HERE) have premiere their new song  “The Difference”, coming of Still Alive, the forthcoming 7″ compilation featuring other greats of hardcore, including Terror, Combust, Slope, Weight, and Risk It!

Andrew Kline comments for No Echo:

“It’s easy to fall into the trappings of trying to impress others, of trying to seem ‘cool,’ and really just trying to be something that you are not. On this path of self discovery things get convoluted and we sometimes wear masks to disguise ourselves. In the end, everyone can see through the costumes, the walls we build, and the bullshit posturing. It may sound cliché, but true happiness comes from being yourself.”

The Still Alive 7″ compilation hits the streetson March 11 via Reaper Records.

Lyrics:

I wanted to believe in you
Now I’m asking myself
What are you trying to prove?

Its time to strip away the truth
Take a look at the mirror
Who’s staring back at you?

There is a difference

I know you’ve been living a lie
And I wonder why you even try
You shine too bright
I can’t even look you in the eye

There is a difference
