Sweden’sย GUSTย has announced the band’s upcoming participation supporting New York hardcore innovators, Burn, on the band’s Do Or Die tour of Europe this March. Drawing from theirย harsh self-titled full-lengthย onย Southern Lord, and sharing some new material coming together for the follow-up album, the Gothenburg-basedย GUSTย crew is eager to hit the road again.
With ten tracks in just under a half-hour,ย GUSTย unleashes a maelstrom of cutting edge demolition, with cerebral elements continually emerging from the shadows with an almost ethereal effect on their self-titled LP. Self-recorded at Fvck Life Studios, and mastered at Audiosiege by Brad Boatright (Warcry, From Ashes Rise, Deathreat,) who also supplies guest vocals to the album,ย Gustย is a crushing and incredibly dynamic album, displaying a unique style of crust-infused hardcore and talented songwriting from the young act.
