Richmond hardcore pack OUTSIDER streaming debut demo

1 min read

Flatspot Records will be teaming up with Richmond, VA’s OUTSIDER to release their DEMO 2018. Richmond, VA has been continuously delivering high-quality hardcore bands as of late. Now we can add OUTSIDER to that fine lineage. Influenced by the sounds of Madball, No Warning, and Violation just to name a few, the band has a modern and refreshing take on a classic sound. Comprised of musicians that have play in, or are still members, of such bands as Cold Touch, Upperhand, Step Off, and Junkyard Dogs. Make sure not to catch RVA’s new-blood in a city near you.

Demo 2018 was recorded at Studio F12 by Sam Deyerle in the winter of 2017, and finished with cover art by Marina Inoue with layout by Stefan Brandow.

The band dropped an interview with No Echo today where drummer, Jamie Davis states about the bands plans for the future,

“We want to play as many shows as we can, try and get on the road and do some touring, and just keep writing. We’ve got some songs in the works right now and we are hoping to get them recorded sometime this summer.”
