Hardcore crew SAFE AND SOUND streaming new EP

1 min read

When describing Tacoma, Washington’s SAFE AND SOUND, the fist thing that comes to mind is throwback. Over the past three years (and three releases)S AFE AND SOUND has crafted a sound that clearly pulls influences from now classic 90’s acts like INDECISION, STRIFE, and BURN helping the term throwback fit perfectly. When you dig deeper, you see a band who puts it’s beliefs first. Like legendary acts EARTH CRISIS, MORNING AGAIN and CHOKEHOLD before them, SAFE AND SOUND is an outspoken vegan straightedge band that pours that passion into every note of every song which also feels like a lost aspect of modern hardcore. This passion has never been more apparent than the band’s upcoming 7″ EP Embers Still Remain coming out Feb 16th via Life to Live Records (US) and Assault Records (EU). Embers Still Remain is currently streaming in it’s entirety at Alternative Press magazine and below, and presales are currently taking place here for Life to Live Records and here for Assault Records. In celebration of  Embers Still Remain the band will be hitting the road for a month long US tour this March (Tour dates below).
