SOFT KILL streaming a collection of demos from the “Savior” sessions

1 min read

Portland shoegazin’ post punks SOFT KILL (see our end of the year feature HERE), have shared the full stream of “A Plan To Suffer”, a collection of demos from the “Savior” sessions. The band commented:

The majority of which were recorded on the UC Davis Medical Center campus while my son was in the NICU on life support. Instead of turning back to drugs I poured my confusion and pain into songs and whats captured via these recordings is just that, in real time.

Often the demo versions are always my favorites and not only is that the case here but I feel that what’s coursing through these versions couldn’t be recreated later. – T.G. 2020

A limited run of 100 cassettes is available in the BigCartel. All songs written by T.G. except “Missing”, by Conrad Vollmer & T.G. and “Changing Days” by Owen Thompson and T.G.
