Here’s a message from the editor in chief:

“So here we are, right in the middle of the music festival season! I hope that you’ve been attending as many festivals as possible, whilst enjoying the sunshine? As that’s what we’ve been trying to do. In this issue you can expect to see reviews from 2000 Trees Festival, Slam Dunk Festival, Download Festival, MCM Expo. All events that you should check out, if for some reason you haven’t done so yet!

Our main feature comes from Billy Talent, who tell us all about their incredible new album ‘Afraid of Heights’, a release that the band have described as their most experimental to date! We also, look back on their career and discover how their work ethic has contributed to them becoming one of the most important alternative rock bands of the last decade. So yeah, don’t miss out on this highly anticipated release, as well as their first UK tour in way too long in October!

You can check out interviews from: Frank Turner, Young Guns, Moose Blood, Sleeping With Sirens, Atreyu, Breaking Benjamin, Vanna, The Color Morale, who all get us up to date with what their world is like right now! Then in our talent feature section we talk to: Neil Jackson, Cam Kennedy, Alan Grant, John Wagner, to find out what it’s like to do their hobbies as a career! As well as all of this we try to review as many releases as possible in our reviews section, so please get stuck into that and discover something new today!

So we hope that you’ll enjoy the issue, and we’ll see you at the end of September to tell you about some of the best tours and releases coming up as we start to head out of 2016!”
