The fierce Massachusetts straight edge band, Vantage Point, has just revealed their inaugural full-length album, “Against Myself,” set to hit your playlists on November 10th via Triple B Records. The album dishes out nine potent tracks with a theme circling self-forgiveness and acceptance.
Their fresh single, “A Reminder,” serves as a musical jolt to keep moving forward, with robust drums, swift guitar strings, and vocals that’ll have you singing at the top of your lungs.
A little throwback: Vantage Point burst onto the scene in 2016 and has since treated us to three epic EPs, their last one being “An Answer You Won’t Find” from October 2019, also under Triple B’s banner.
They’re the pulse of Boston’s hardcore scene, sharing talents with renowned bands like C4, Chaos Cross, and Final Gasp.
Their inspirations span legends such as Inside Out, Turning Point, and Burn, ensuring an audacious blend of rapid-fire and resonating anthems.
Their latest creation, “Against Myself,” is an introspective dive, urging listeners to reflect upon their life decisions.
Kudos to Will Hirst from Gate 4 Studio in Springfield, MA, for the fantastic recording, mixing, and mastering, and a nod to Matt Neville for capturing those powerful vocals in Weymouth, MA.
For those who love name-dropping: Vantage Point comprises Russell Campot belting the vocals, Sean Rose smashing the drums, Owen Viles ruling the bass, and Doug Ostroskey strumming the guitar.
Keep an eye out: They’ll be setting the stage on fire come December 3rd in Boston at America’s Hardcore Fest.
