Araki Records is a French label founded in August 2015. Based in Germaine, it describes its catalogue with the phrase “musique d’ascenseur émotionnel”, with post-rock, math rock and indie pop among the styles named by the label.
IDIOTEQ has followed releases from Araki for years. A Shape pulled the catalogue toward noise rock. Milkilo combined noise rock with punk, post-rock, kraut and sludge, while Mule Jenny moved through experimental indie rock.
Satón connected the label with post-hardcore. Eretia appeared through a wider European co-release network. Bank Myna followed with “Eimuria” in April 2025. Mia Vita Violenta released “A Matter of Perception” in May 2025 via Araki and Atypeek. Eretia’s “The Autumn of Civilization” came through a 14-label co-release.
