snag. are a Milwaukee screamo band whose own description is unusually concise: “milwaukee river skramz about climate anxiety.” Environmental collapse, community and political urgency have stayed close to the centre of their writing, while the music sits inside the harsher, emotionally charged end of screamo.
IDIOTEQ first gave that focus a dedicated feature in 2019. The band returned with “Death Doula” in 2021, then worked with Indiana’s Coma Regalia on the 2023 split “MMXXIII”. We covered “On The Human Condition” and later published a longer split breakdown.
