Japanese noise-monsters ENVY have been melting minds and amps since 1992 and have rightfully established themselves as one of the foremost leaders of the post-hardcore genre. They are in essence a punk band and have never aspired to mainstream appeal. Their music, through their own evolution, encompasses a sound where intensity and beauty coexists. In short, a band that truly has its own sound. The intense vocals are jaw-dropping, intense, like a prime example of the human voice pushed to its limits. Brutal and romantic. / Hellfest
