Sound and Fury festival 2016 has announced the first batch of bands that will be performing at the resurrected edition of the fest on June 10 and 11 at the Regent Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

In 2006, along with my friends Bob and Todd, we booked the first Sound and Fury Festival at The Alpine in Ventura, California. We ended up booking four Sound and Fury’s, before focusing on new things, then letting Joey and Ray take over.
Fast forward to 2015, and Bob is on the East Coast and Todd is doing Nails, and I, along with my friend Martin am booking Sound and Fury 2016.
I’m also excited to say that this Sound and Fury will be the first to take place in Downtown Los Angeles at the Regent Theater, at a venue that is the closest thing I’ve seen yet to The Alpine (complete with balcony). Anyone who was fortunate enough to attend one of the first two Sound and Fury’s knows what a special venue that was, and this one is just as intimate…but more about that later.
