West Coast’s leading metalcore pack, MUGSHOT, has unveiled their newest single and eponymous track, “Cold Will“, heralding the arrival of their forthcoming EP. Set to release on November 3rd via Pure Noise Records, this track features the riveting voice of Josh Mata from SKIN TICKET.

With “Cold Will“, the trio doesn’t shy away from the intricate and often overwhelming intricacies of depression and anxiety.

This track continues MUGSHOT’s tradition of addressing weighty psychological subjects and the prevailing societal unease. This trend is evident throughout their soon-to-be-released EP.

Speaking about the essence of their new track, the band shares, “Cold Will is a reflection on the profound depths of depression, and the yearning to feel – even if it leads one to self-harm.

The track captures the tumultuous journey of an individual grappling with intense anxiety and desolation: a quest for any sensation, be it physical or psychological, even if it culminates in demise. The song’s narrative carries the listener through profound lyricism that ultimately culminates in an unresolved confrontation with despair.”
