“Standing Alone” – bleak hardcore band DESZCZ premiere new video!

1 min read

Soon after the premiere of their stunning third record “III” and European tour announcement alongside GUANTANAMO PARTY PROGRAM, Poznań, Poland’s dark crust hardcore trio DESZCZ is proud to give you their new classy music video for the song “Standing Alone”!

It’s our first music video for new album “III”. Video shoot took place on Uznam island, summer 2016. We worked with our good friend Kuba (Woda i Pustka). He already make two previos videos for us and he is greate guy to work with. We decided to make something diffrent this time, so we asked our dear friend Igor to play charcter in this video. Marysia designed and done whole boddypaintig.

Poland continues to spawn some of the better DIY punk, hardcore, post rock and bleak metal hybrids Europe has to offer these days, and there are literally dozens of great newcomers you should  want to become familiar with. DESZCZ are no rookies and their newest offering proves that they manage to tug at your heartstrings while giving you a solid beating with their ferocious sound. These guys are predatory in their sound, but just like their newest video shows, but there’s a well-thought concept,, warmth and fragility to their craft that makes it stand apart from a lot of similar works. Well done buddies. Well done.

Video Credits: Shot and edit: Woda i Pustka / Cast: Igor Niebudyń / Makeup and bodypainting: Marysia Ciernioch / Recorded, mixed & mastered at Left Hand Sounds.
