Unbeaten Records is an Albany, New York label rooted in hardcore. A 2019 profile with owner Buddy Armstrong described the label as an attempt to support bands that were being overlooked, while its catalogue has included Purgatory, Boundaries, All Out War, Orthodox Straight Edge, CELL and other bands crossing hardcore and metalcore.
Purgatory put out their second album “Lawless To Grave” on Unbeaten Records, Kaonashi kept working with the label on their debut album, and Montreal’s Bruiserweight released a new EP on it. The Purgatory and Bruiserweight releases sit squarely inside the wider hardcore punk network, and Purgatory’s leaves room for the more metallic end of that scene.
