Toronto epic screamo maestros RESPIRE hit European roads

June 6, 2017
1 min read

Over a year since the premiere of their stunning, orchestral record “Gravity And Grace”, Toronto epic sextet RESPIRE are bringing their masterpiece to our shores! The band will be touring Europe starting on June 15th and will back home after their last show on July 7th. The European tour line-up includes the band’s violin player, so expect a full blast of immersive sounds and uplifting moments. Watch a promo video below and scroll down to see all the dates.

“Gravity and Grace is a work of obliterating intensity, and soul-rending emotional delivery that is carefully adorned with contemplative passages of purposeful silence, triumphant horn motifs, and bellowing guitars with plodding titanic percussion. A cathartic, existentialist masterpiece.” – Brian Roesler, Treble

“Gravity And Grace” by RESPIRE was released in April 2016 via Zegema Beach Records (Canada), Ozona Records (USA), Dingleberry Records (Germany), Narshardaa Records (Germany), and Parking Lot Records (tapes, USA).

The band commented:

In a matter of weeks we depart on our first European tour. It’s been four years of work getting here and we couldn’t be more excited to fall in love with new landscapes, new faces, and new communities.

But even then, our hearts will always be back home, in Toronto, with the community that’s been with us through every high and low. So here’s a retrospective of sorts. From one of our first shows to the most recent. Our community means more than anything. You mean more than anything.
The romance will never end.
