The band commented:

Sliders” , the 1rst track of our upcoming album “From Dead-End Street” was realized by using a double exposure process mixing live footage (from Xtrem Fest) inlayed in studio performances. This process illustrates perfectly the theme of this song concerning an assertion of one besides crossing the genres, the sexes, and the appearances!

“We are not just, simple appearance “

With more than 270 concerts in 14 different countries, four European tours, participations in several festivals such as Hellfest, three Eps and one full-length album, Stinky are one of the most hardworking and irreverent hardcore bands in the French underground scene.

Influenced by bands like Comeback Kid and Nine Eleven among others, the Nantes-based group was formed in 2010 and was initially called Stinky Bollocks. Following a few line-up chances, the group finally stabilizes in 2014 with the arrival of new vocalist Claire, whose voice gives a whole different personality to the band’s sound and clearly distinguishes them from the male-dominating hardcore scene.

Lyrics:

This feeling that your birth determines your life
What is below the belt, determines your voice

When your body doesn’t belong to you anymore
Apologizing being on earth , ‘cause you’re not ready for

A thought of freedom, that you can seize
It sometimes aches, you have to chose
Made by incomprehension, by bullshit which surrounds you
Only mental tone, will agree with you

Sometimes my body doesn’t belong, to me anymore

But my spirit has to remain mine
With my teeth, I’ll tear your labels, and your nonsense apart

Moving sliders Moving sliders,
I have made my choice,
We are not just, simple appearance

Moving sliders Moving sliders,
I have made my choice,
We are not just, simple appearance
