Today, we have the first exclusive spin and you can check it out below!
“Another Side Of Youth” is slated for an October 23 12” vinyl release via Dingleberry Records, Les Disques Rabat-Joie, Fresh Outbreak Records, Quebranta Records, Surrogate Records, Unlock Yourself Records, and Seaside Suicide Records!
“We started writing material for this album at the end of 2015 and finally recorded it in 2018-2019 in our hometown Ternopil at Shpytal Records“, says the band. Mixed and mastered by Steph Tanker at Disvlar Studio (Besançon, France), the album features artwork, design, and layout by photographer Kerrifun and bass player of the band Dmytro Rust.
“During all these years, our band has undergone many changes and long pauses, the path of this album was very difficult, and omitting all the details of our vicissitudes and difficulties” – admits the band.
Asked about the lyrical content behind the new album, ELEPHANT OPINIONS describe “Another Side Of Youth” as a symbolic title. “The album is mainly about the fact that we are all getting older every year and new stages of our lives are opening up before us. We formed a band when we were teenagers, and now we are adults, a lot has changed around us, we have changed, but in no way has our love for the punk scene and music in general changed. that is why we are still here with you and still creating for you.”
The new album differs significantly from their previous work, with their heavier sound being complemented by more melodies.
One of the new songs, “Bright Future”, was recorded live during their live set at Back to Youth Festival 2021:
