This Is Hardcore, the Philadelphia-based hardcore festival, has unveiled the first wave of its lineup for 2023, and it’s already looking like it’s going to be an epic one. The initial roster includes a plethora of legendary hardcore acts, such as Bane, Gorilla Biscuits, Integrity, and Earth Crisis, all set to rock the stage and leave fans in awe.
The lineup also includes a reunion set from Prayer for Cleansing, the pre-Between the Buried and Me band, who recently reunited for the John Rivera benefit, and Undying, who are also reuniting for this special occasion.
Furthermore, fans can expect a very rare reunion show from Silent Majority, alongside No Pressure, Vein, Mindforce, Gridiron, and Speed, all of whom are guaranteed to deliver unforgettable performances.
Boston’s Bane will be headlining one night, reuniting after their 2016 farewell show to raise funds for their late bassist Brendan “Stu” Maguire’s family. Gorilla Biscuits, a prominent band from New York, will also be headlining after having already headlined TIHC in the past. Cleveland’s Integrity will join the headliners, enjoying a new wave of acclaim.
The rest of the lineup for TIHC is just as impressive, featuring other bands with long histories such as Earth Crisis, Silent Majority, Prayer For The Cleansing, Deadguy, Bulldoze, Bitter End, Death Threat, and Suburban Scum. Additionally, the event will showcase some of the most exciting bands in the genre, including Mindforce, Vein, Speed, End It, No Pressure, Pain Of Truth, Magnitude, Year Of The Knife, Koyo, Combust, Life’s Question, Regulate, Vamachara, Gridiron, Conservative Military Image, Wreckage, and Scarab.
This Is Hardcore 2023 will take place from August 4-6 at Underground Arts and Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia, two renowned venues known for their excellent acoustics and spacious settings, perfect for hosting such an event. Get your tickets here.
