Hardcore pack BAD BLOOD shares full stream of debut EP “The Bad Kind Decides”

1 min read

Today, the debut EP titled The Bad Kind Decides” by BAD BLOOD, a hardcore band hailing from Buffalo, NY, has been released via Flatspot Records. With an impressive lineup of talented musicians, the band has successfully created a sound that is both honest and aggressive, consisting of five hard-hitting songs that are bound to leave a lasting impression on the fans of straight up old school hardcore with a modern twist.

The lyrics of the songs were penned by the renowned vocalist Scott Vogel (check out our recent interview HERE), who has previously worked with Terror and Buried Alive, while the instrumentation was skillfully crafted by guitarists Eric Ellman, who has worked with They Live and Violent Way, and Mason Hutchins, who has also worked with Violent Way, along with bassist Greg Vinal, who has previously worked with Exhibition, and drummer Nick Terlecky, who has also worked with Violent Way. The end result is an unapologetically raw and authentic hardcore sound, free from any gimmicks or frills, that features pummeling riffs that are sure to ignite the mosh-pit.

Taking influence from ‘80s hardcore bands like Warzone and Brotherhood, the band name itself is a nod to Buffalo legendary hardcore band Zero Tolerance’s first 7 inch. The Bad Kind Decides was recorded live with producer Jay Zubricky (Mindforce, Snapcase) at GCR studios and mastered by Will Killingsworth (Orchid) at Dead Air Studios.

Having already played a handful of shows, the band will perform in Brooklyn, NY on April 7th at the Flatspot World pre-show alongside Outburst, Violent Way, Kharma and more, and have a show in hometown Buffalo, NY the next night with Chokehold and more.

The Bad Kind Decides is available for purchase now via Flatspot Records and on all streaming services.
