Known for their intense fusion of screamo and black metal, the group, comprising seasoned members from a myriad of influential acts such as The Ousted, Burn Her Letters, ria, pembe, Noisy Sins Of The Insect, and Slave Training, now introduces their latest creation: “Pinturas Negras.”
This sophomore album is more than a collection of tracks; it’s an homage to the haunting ethos of Francisco Goya’s “Black Paintings”.
The record encapsulates the essence of these works through a soundtrack that is both viscerally dark and exquisitely worrisome, interwoven with the aggressive anxiety that has come to define Jornada Del Muerto’s sound.
