Mevzu Records is an Istanbul-based DIY label founded in 2018. The label describes itself as an “omnifarious punk label”.

Ankara band plein de vie. brought screamo into the catalogue. Danish band Vægtløs connected Mevzu with blackgaze and post-metal, while .22LR added another screamo release from a band formed across continents.

CAGES released “Better Mistakes” as a multi-label tape and one-sided 12-inch. Bymyside brought an Italian emo/screamo angle, and Konoha appeared with another contemporary screamo release.
