In an electrifying fusion of styles, a trio of bands is set to embark on an explosive European tour.
FINAL DOSE from the UK, Belgium’s HEAD OF THE BAPTIST, and Slovakia’s OTRAS will bring their unique sounds to stages across the continent, promising an unforgettable experience for fans of hardcore punk, black metal, and crust.
The “ANGELS WEEP LOUDLY, BLINDED BY THE SHEEN OF THE SCYTHE – European Tour” kicks off on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 007 Strahov in Prague, Czech Republic. The tour will take these bands on a journey through various European cities, including Dresden, Leipzig, Hannover, Berlin, Giessen, and Arnhem.
FINAL DOSE, originally a solitary entity born during the 2020 lockdown, has evolved into a formidable 4-piece coven. Their music channels the chaotic energies of black metal-tinged hardcore punk. Following their incantations that summoned “Dark Places” and the mesmerizing “World Prisoner” in 2022, they’re now crossing the Atlantic to unleash their debut LP, “Void Inside.”
HEAD OF THE BAPTIST, an enigmatic fusion of heavy genres, weaves together crushing black and death metal influences, D-Beat/Crust, and the chaos of Grindcore. Their fresh EP “The Pyre Of Equivalence” was released digitally earlier this year, and it will be available physically before the tour.
OTRAS, hailing from eastern Slovakia, emerged in December 2020 as a primordial force of raw black metal punk. With their core members and support, they are ready to conjure forth the latest incantations from an upcoming album, set to manifest in January 2024.

In a bold mashup of alt-folk and cutting-edge electronics, I HÄXA drops a groundbreaking project that’s all about shattering norms.
Their latest endeavor, ‘Part 1’, kicks off with a quartet of tracks that are as much an auditory experience as they are a visual feast, thanks to a collab with filmmaker Daniel Broadley. ‘Part 1’ is a deep dive into a post-apocalyptic vibe, where the lines between reality and myth blur. The project’s sonic landscape is vast, from the tense strings of ‘Underworld’ that suddenly explode into electronic chaos, to ‘Inferno’s spoken-word seduction that twists into discomfort.
