COMEBACK KID have unleashed “Disruption,” a high-octane single from their forthcoming TROUBLE EP, set to drop on March 15th via SharpTone Records.
This track follows the release of “Trouble In The Winner’s Circle,” blending frenetic drums, punchy vocals, and charged lyrics into an anthem ready to energize pits and sing-a-longs at their shows.

For Love Of Records, a fully-DIY venture founded by Celebration Summer bassist Greg Raelson, spearheads this endeavor. Raelson’s goal was to create a premier compilation that not only spotlights local area bands and artists but also pays homage to the record label that significantly influenced his musical journey. The project remains rooted in the DC music scene, collaborating with local fine artists for packaging and design and entrusting local vinyl pressing plant Furnace Records with production. The tour will take these bands on a journey through various European cities, including Dresden, Leipzig, Hannover, Berlin, Giessen, and Arnhem.
FINAL DOSE, originally a solitary entity born during the 2020 lockdown, has evolved into a formidable 4-piece coven. Their music channels the chaotic energies of black metal-tinged hardcore punk. Following their incantations that summoned “Dark Places” and the mesmerizing “World Prisoner” in 2022, they’re now crossing the Atlantic to unleash their debut LP, “Void Inside.”
HEAD OF THE BAPTIST, an enigmatic fusion of heavy genres, weaves together crushing black and death metal influences, D-Beat/Crust, and the chaos of Grindcore. Their fresh EP “The Pyre Of Equivalence” was released digitally earlier this year, and it will be available physically before the tour.

Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala, known for their work in The Mars Volta, are set to revive their dub reggae group DE FACTO at SXSW after a hiatus of over 20 years. The announcement coincides with the North American premiere of the documentary “Omar and Cedric: If This Ever Gets Weird” at the festival.
While original members Isaiah “Ikey” Owens and Jeremy Ward have passed away, the festival appearance marks a significant reunion for the band. Details about additional members and performance specifics are yet to be revealed, but anticipation runs high for this rare and unexpected revival.

While the emo-rap subgenre may have garnered mixed feelings from many, nothing,nowhere.’s arrival on the scene in early 2019 brought a fresh perspective. His blend of emo and hip-hop, anchored by his own production and guitar playing, stood out amidst the sea of Soundcloud artists.
Now, with Dark Magic, Mulherin unveils his most expansive work yet. Released seemingly out of the blue, the mixtape spans 18 tracks and encompasses ten years of his musical evolution. Each song exudes earnestness, showcasing Mulherin’s songwriting prowess. From emo club bangers like “Pity Party” and “Reaper Gang” to the towering chorus of “No Emotion,” Dark Magic delivers a captivating journey.
Tracks like “Haunted Home,” “XXX,” and “Beige” delve into post-hardcore territory, reminiscent of Mulherin’s exploration on Void Eternal. While these tracks may feel somewhat out of place within the mixtape’s overall theme, they nevertheless showcase Mulherin’s versatility.
With swirling synthesizers and restrained vocal melodies, Mulherin demonstrates his growth and maturation as an artist.
