Prejudice Me is a DIY record label and distro in Manchester, UK, run by Fran and Zoe, and the profit from its mail order and gig stalls goes to community groups and radical causes. In December 2016 it marked five years with “I Can Already Smell Your Unhappyness”, a 16-track tape with a zine, released alongside the Manchester and Salford Anarchist Bookfair, and a few months later Fran and Zoe talked to IDIOTEQ about volunteering and activism.
It often releases records together with other DIY labels. It was the UK label for the Swedish band Trophies’ “There Will Be No Light” in 2014, joined Fenland Hardcore Collective and Never Fall Into Silence in 2017 for a split tape by the Bristol d-beat band This Ends Here and Wolfbeast Destroyer, and in 2026 was one of five labels behind “Chimera”, the second album by the Rome post-hardcore band Murosuono, alongside Pasidaryk Pats Records.
