Paris-based indie post-hardcore act KARABA F.C. have been quietly carving out a space for themselves in the French underground since 2019, and now they’re stepping into deeper waters.
Their long-awaited debut full-length Symbionts is due October 17th via Voice of the Unheard (fome of Sport, Ephemera screamo project and loads more), but the first wave hits July 4th with lead single TIDES, a track that channels emotional abrasion, melodic tension, and the tidal pull of inner unrest.

Thenew video for Tides is a visual journey. The band’s self-edited music video pieces together haunting, grainy fragments from archival films sourced from La Cinémathèque de Bretagne.
Family rituals, seascapes, ecological tragedies—all blending with KARABA F.C.’s gauzy aggression and melodic vulnerability.
Think Touché Amoré urgency wrapped in the introspective haze of Basement and State Faults, with a sense of edgy British indie and an unease reminiscent of Birds In Row.
Recorded at La Cuve in Angers during the summer of 2024 with Elliot Aschard and STW (of MIDSALE, REST UP), the album was later mastered by Magnus Lindberg—known for sculpting the sonic muscle of Cult of Luna and Russian Circles. The nine tracks of Symbionts stretch across 39 minutes of emotionally-dense terrain, where danceable indie motifs crash head-on with jagged post-hardcore frameworks.
The band—Émile, Clément, Olivier, and Jordan—have previously released two EPs (Empty Rooms in 2021 and April Dancer in 2023), and shared stages with the likes of GILLIAN CARTER, VIBORA, FRAGILE, and L’IDYLLE.
