New Age Records was established in Southern California in 1988 by Mike Hartsfield and has remained tied to hardcore across several generations.
A 2024 IDIOTEQ feature with Worst Ways looked back across the label’s hardcore history from a current-band perspective. Since then, our coverage has followed releases from Spark of Life, Bloodguilt and Wake of Humanity.
The 2026 archive adds Escalate, another Wake of Humanity tour diary and Ontario band Rust. Together they show a long-running label still connected to active hardcore scenes in North America and Europe.
