Engineer Records is an independent label in the south-east of England. It began in 1999 as Ignition Records, and its site says that for the label punk rock is “an ethic, even more than a sound”.

It is often the UK partner on records that several small labels release together. Sell The Heart Records has handled the US side of records by Neckscars in 2021, Sleave in 2024 and The Jukebox Romantics in 2025, and the London melodic hardcore band Death of Youth put out their debut album in 2026 through seven labels, from Dancing Rabbit Records in Germany to Pasidaryk Pats Records in Lithuania. Break To Broken explained the idea in 2026: pressing “The Hope Experiment” with four labels, Engineer among them, cost the band a fraction of doing it alone. Engineer had already worked with the band on three earlier records.
