Miss The Stars Records is a small Berlin-based label and blog focused on screamo, emotive hardcore and the more violent edges of that scene. Its catalogue has included full releases, splits, discographies and a long-running series of screamo samplers, giving the project a role that extends beyond individual records into documentation and circulation of the scene itself.
IDIOTEQ followed that network closely through the late 2010s. A 2017 feature on a Miss The Stars sampler also documented support for the anti-sexual-violence organisation RAINN. Around the same period, our coverage followed Øjne, Coma Regalia and Drei Affen, the SeeYouSpaceCowboy / Secondgradeknifefight split and early Portrayal of Guilt.
The label’s archival role became especially visible when Kodan Armada’s catalogue returned on vinyl in 2021. A later 2026 feature on The Caulfield Cult keeps that connection present in the current archive. Miss The Stars sits inside an international DIY exchange that has kept screamo records, old and new, circulating across countries.
